We’re conveniently located next to the double roundabouts near the Town Gate, making us easy to find whether you’re travelling by car or on foot.
Yes! There are plenty of parking options close to My Happy Place.
There are two free car parks located just a 2-minute walk away, off Holgate Street and Glebe Street. There is also on-street parking available in the surrounding area.
Of course. If possible, we recommend bringing your little one in a car seat or carrying them in, as space is limited within the sensory room.
However, if you’re walking to us or need to bring a pram, that’s absolutely fine. We have space available to store prams safely during your visit.
Yes, we kindly ask that both adults and children remove their shoes when they have entered the sensory room and wear socks instead.
This helps us keep My Happy Place as clean, hygienic, and comfortable as possible for all of our little visitors, especially those who love to explore the space on their hands and knees! 💛
My Happy Place is specially designed for babies and children aged 0–5 years, with activities and sensory experiences tailored to support their development, curiosity, and play.
We also understand that older siblings sometimes want to join in the fun. That’s why we offer sibling and school-age sessions during school holidays, giving the whole family a chance to enjoy the space together.
We kindly ask that you don’t arrive more than 5 minutes before your session starts.
This allows us enough time to clean, sanitise, and prepare the sensory room between sessions, ensuring it’s ready for you and your little ones to enjoy.
Absolutely! We offer exclusive private hire sessions.
Prices start from £30, making it the perfect option for playdates with family and friends, meet-ups with other parents, or for childminders looking for a dedicated sensory space for the children in their care.

Our Baby Spa room is kept lovely and warm to ensure your little one stays comfortable throughout the session.
We recommend that adults wear light, comfortable clothing, as it can get quite cosy in the room and you may feel a little warm.
Babies will be in their nappies during the session, helping them stay relaxed, comfortable, and free to enjoy all the spa experiences. 💛
Messy Play can get a little… well, messy!
We recommend bringing:
- A towel
- A change of clothes for your child
Many children enjoy taking part in messy play wearing just a nappy or vest, allowing them to fully explore and enjoy the activities without worrying about getting their clothes dirty.
And don’t worry if your little one isn’t keen on getting messy! Every child is different, and there will be plenty of toys, sensory activities, and opportunities to explore at their own pace. 💛
To help keep My Happy Place safe, clean, and enjoyable for all of our families, we kindly ask that no food or snacks are brought into the sensory room.
We have children attending with allergies and sensitivities, and we want to make sure everyone can play safely and comfortably.
Feeding your little one is absolutely fine.

- Water in a non-spill cup or bottle
- NG and gastrostomy feeds equivalent to breastmilk or formula
Before coming into your session, please make sure any snacks or food are tucked away in your bag and saved for afterwards.
If you need to cancel or move your booking, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
With 48 hours’ notice or more:
We’re happy to transfer your booking to another available session.
With less than 48 hours’ notice:
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer a transfer or reschedule, and the session will be lost.
Refunds:
As a small business, we aren’t able to offer refunds on bookings. Our booking provider charges fees on every transaction, meaning refunds would leave us out of pocket.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us via email and we’ll be happy to help wherever we can.

To help keep My Happy Place safe, clean and enjoyable for all of our families, we kindly ask that no food or snacks are brought into the sensory room.
We have children attending with allergies and sensitivities, and we want to make sure everyone can play safely and comfortably. Keeping food out of the room also helps us maintain a clean and hygienic environment for all our visitors.

We completely understand that life with babies and toddlers can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change at the last minute.
If you need to cancel or move your booking, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice.
